National Farmers Union, officially called the Farmers Educational and Cooperative Union of America, was founded in 1902 in Point, Texas by Newt Gresham. National Farmers Union is a general farm organization with a membership of nearly 300,000 farm and ranch families throughout the United States. National Farmers Union is a federation that represents farmers and ranchers in all states. The presidents of the 24 state and regional Farmers Union organizations (33 states in all) serve as its board of directors.

National Farmers Organization (NFO)
National Farmers is a not-for-profit, paid-membership general farm organization. It evolved from a farm protest movement in 1955 into a producer-owned organization of farmers which today negotiates contracts and terms of sale for hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of its family-farmer members in 37 agricultural states in the continental U.S.

Nebraska Wind & Solar Conference
The Nebraska Wind & Solar Conference is a unique “Nebraska Nice” collaborative annual two-day conference and trade sow. It brings together a diverse range of stakeholders including landowners, public officials, public utilities, private developers and consulting firms, environmental and wildlife groups, and the public. They hear about the latest and best information and innovations impacting wind and solar energy development from top state and national experts. Their website is a library of information about wind and solar development that is a great resource. John Hansen is the Chair of the Conference and first organized the event in 2008.

The Organization for Competitive Markets is a multidisciplinary nonprofit group made up of farmers, ranchers, academics, attorneys, political leaders and business people. OCM provides research, information and advocacy towards a goal of increasing competition in the agricultural marketplace and protecting those markets from abuses of corporate power.
R-Calf USA
R-CALF USA is a national non-profit cattle association representing only cow/calf producers and independent stockers and feeders. In 1999 R-CALF USA became a national membership organization and is now the fastest growing cattle association in the U.S.
